Now Santa's on the Phone -Thanks to Audingo and Mix 94.7

The festive spirit is really catching on. Companies and individuals are trying to exploit this to the fullest extent to promote their products. And, what better way to do it than let children actually receive a free, individualized phone call and special message from Santa!

Well, Audingo, the social platform that lets fans connect and hear directly from their favorite personalities and organizations through media and radio station KAMX-FM Mix 94.7, appears to have things lined up for Austin-Area children.

Between them, right through Christmas Eve, they've arranged it so that Mix 94.7 listeners can now text a child's name – one at a time – to 512-MIX-0054. Audingo takes over from there, acknowledges the message and informs the caller that Santa will be calling soon.

Imagine the child's excitement when Santa keeps his word and calls the number within 10 minutes, imparts a special message- a different one for each child- reassuring them of Santa's impending visit on Christmas Eve.

"Nothing compares to sharing holiday magic with your kids, and seeing their faces when they – out of all the children in the world – get an interactive phone call from Santa takes it to the next level," said Michael Boukadakis, voice processing and IVR expert, founder and CEO at Audingo.

Audingo takes this one step further by allowing children to reply to Santa with a voice message using its TalkBack feature. Mix 94.7 is expected to post these TalkBack replies from children around the world on its website. Doting parents and relatives can also listen to these messages by visiting the Mix94.7 portal.

Of course, Santa doesn't forget to promote Mix 94.7 radio personalities JB and Sandy's annual "Bikes for Kids," a benefit for children around Central Texas.

Boukadakis believes that Santa's voice or the voice of any celebrity is so much more powerful than words on a page or text on a screen and that's why he is using Audingo and Mix 94.7 to give Austin-Area children a bit of magic and make them feel very privileged.
