Indosoft Expands its Auto-Provisioning Capability of SIP Phones

Traditional call centers have now expanded their role into unified communication contact centers with chat, e-mail and website integration functionality. Indosoft (News - Alert) Inc. is a provider of turn-key contact center solutions to medium and large call centers around the world.
Q-suite is Indosoft’s comprehensive contact center technology suite for Asterisk (News - Alert), which comes with a superior ACD tightly integrated with the hybrid IP-PBX Asterisk. The software is multi-tenant full featured contact center software with chat and e-mail integration. It also comes with a self-pacing predictive dialer, a fully fledged IVR builder, an integrating scripting tool and skills based intelligent routing.
To make it more interesting, Indosoft expanded its auto-provisioning capability of SIP phones with the inclusion of Polycom and Linksys (News
- Alert) (Cisco) IP phones.
“Auto-provisioning with phone registration management is a must for large call center setup. We are constantly expanding SIP auto-provisioning within our call center software to include more phone manufacturers. This will provide Q-Suite based contact centers a wider choice of IP phones” James Terhune (News - Alert), chief technology officer at Indosoft said in a statement.
“While working as an ACD agent in on-hook mode, supervisors and remote at-home agents can now take advantage of multi-channel phones with advanced features,” Terhune added.
Indosoft believes that large and distributed contact center deployments using a variety of hard and soft IP phones will benefit from the ease of phone registration and management using Q-Suite’s auto-provisioning. Home and remote agents will also now have a greater choice in selecting a preferred SIP phone, said the company.
Q-Suite 5.7 comes with an elegant and powerful GUI tool for building IVR, call-flows and dial-plans. Contact center ACD agents within Q-Suite can work with either on-hook or off-hook phone designations. This reduces the average caller wait-time in queues by minimizing the time taken for handing calls over to the agents.
