Unified communications and collaboration are the key components of a successful business environment. Internet telephony provider Telappliant is also going by this trend. The company revealed its new VoIPOffice Communicator, a free desktop application noted to turn a PC or Mac into a powerful unified communications tool.
In a statement, Tan Aksoy, chief executive officer at Telappliant, clarified that the new VoIPOffice Communicator will bring a host of UC benefits to Telappliants business customers at no additional cost. Aksoy also highlighted key features such as presence, instant messaging and CRM integration, aimed at driving business efficiencies across the customer base.
VoIPOffice is a cloud-based, feature-rich business telephony service from Telappliant. The company describes this service as one of those that can offer crystal-clear call quality and low call tariffs with a multitude of features.
The newly-launched VoIPOffice Communicator provides users of Telappliants VoIPOffice hosted telephony service with a range of unified communications features, including presence, instant messaging, screen popping and click-to-dial. The software can be used as a standalone softphone or integrated with a hardware IP phone to simplify the placing, receiving and managing of calls and voicemails.
VoIPOffice Communicator integrates with Web browsers, contact management software and CRM suites from companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Mozilla (News - Alert), Salesforce.com and SugarCRM for a seamless communications experience.
VoIPOffice Communicator allows its users to make and receive telephone calls using their computer, or take part in video conversations with other VoIP users. They can also view and manage their dialed calls, received calls, missed calls and voicemails, and see who’s calling them with a pop-up window on their computer desktop. Users can also learn whether their contacts are available before making a call.
Other features include: Click-to-dial telephone numbers in e-mails or Web browsers, instant messaging, contacts integration and CRM system integration.
VoIPOffice Hosted Professional, VoIPOffice Hosted Lite, VoIPOffice Hosted Call Centres and VoIPOffice Communicator are some of the telephony solutions the company currently offers.
The service eliminates the need to purchase, install and maintain expensive telephony hardware, and demands only minimal technical knowledge to configure.
Moreover, it can easily integrate with CRM systems and other TAPI-compliant software.
