It’s been a big week for partnerships the Hosted IVR community so let’s dive right in.
In a move to implement a next-generation IVR system, Romanian operator Romtelecom has decided to use the services of Voxeo (News - Alert). Romtelecom will migrate from the legacy IVR system to the upgraded state-of-the-art IVR platform by employing Voxeos’s Prophecy media server and Voxeo CXP.
The move will also help Romtelecom facilitate its management of outbound communications through the Chrysalis Notification Service (CNS), which is incorporated through Voxeo’s Prophecy media server. CNS will also address call scheduling and manage retires problems.
"With the new platform, Romtelecom is able to react immediately to changing customer requirements. Romtelecom is now implementing the entire customer portal using Voxeo CXP. This enables Romtelecom to provide a more modern, flexible, and personalized system," said Paul Thomas, VP Sales EMEA at Voxeo.
In other partnership news, Selectron Technologies and Virtual Hold Technology (News - Alert) (VHT) announced they entered into a partnership. With this new agreement, Selectron will be able to resell VHT’s Conversion Bridge solution to its clients across the country.
VHT’s Conversion Bridge offers an innovative and consistent experience for users trying to connect. It also enables companies to connect its customers with the contact center regardless of the channel they are using. Aside from this partnership, the two companies have also announced they will launch a joint product offering in the near future.
“VHT is always looking for ways to expand the impact of Conversation Bridge solutions. By leveraging Selectron's experience, we can improve the self-service experiences of customers interacting with their utilities and government agencies, while saving those organizations money on telecom minutes and infrastructure." said Wes Hayden (News
