Iperia, a provider of mobile applications and content delivery, announced that Pac-West Telecomm, Inc., a provider of wholesale advanced telecommunications services, has added Iperia's mobility application suite to the Telastic on-demand voice services environment. This addition provides a simplified and seamless end user experience for access through mobile devices, including smartphones such as Blackberry, iPhone (News - Alert), Android, and the Apple iPad. Iperia provides mobility solutions to non-mobile operators, which enable service providers to deliver voice and multimedia services over their IP or TDM based networks. These mobility applications can be deployed without needing to have a wireless network or MVNO contract.
In a press release, Robert H. With Iperia, fixed line operators can now offer competitive mobility solutions and services comparable to that of wireless providers addressing the needs of general and vertical markets, such as Visual Messaging for viewing consolidated voicemails, videomails, and fax messages from multiple phone numbers on a single "branded" mobile application; Mobile Conferencing for "on-the-fly" or scheduled out-dial conferencing that automatically joins conference participants into the call without needing to recall unique passwords or PINs; and single number reach calling.
Recently, Iperia was in news when the company selected Yap (News - Alert) to deliver completely automated voicemail transcription for its Visual Voice Messaging application.
