InteleCom VoIP Saves Dollars per Minute

By Prabhala Ranga Sai, TMCnet Contributor

InteleCom, a provider of telecommunications and Internet products, has come up with new solutions that save call charges. Users can save up to a dollar per minute on long distance calls and up to several dollars per minute when calling while abroad.

InteleCom is able to offer its ultra-cheap calls because all the calls will initially travel over Internet, bypassing traditional phone lines. As a result, it does not matter where the call originates.

A typical international call in many parts of the world costs over half a dollar. Iinternational travelers with mobile phones have to cough up as much as $5 per minute with roaming charges. InteleCom, however, reduces the total per minute cost to just pennies. If a customer is calling another InteleFone there will not be any charge at all, in fact. In order to begin enjoying these low calling rates, users need to simply plug InteleFone into a USB port on a laptop of PC.

Because several parts of the world still are without broadband access, InteleCom has designed it service to work with dial-up as well as broadband connections, allowing anyone with Internet connectivity to enjoy savings on their calling costs.

“Our biggest markets are customers residing abroad and international travelers. These people can literally save dollars per minute with our InteleFone service. Globally, there are 1.25 billion Internet customers and over 1.1 billion are on dial-up. That means our market universe is 900% larger than most of our competition,” said Michael Connor, President and COO of InteleCom. .
