TeleSphere, a Phoenix-based telecommunications provider, and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Phoenix have announced the deployment of a new hosted VoIP platform.

 

The new infrastructure is expected to allow BOMA to communicate with its members and associates through IP telephony and data solutions. Boma officials stated that the transition to TeleSphere’s communication technology will allow BOMA to modernize its infrastructure, and expand and save on overhead costs, as officials pointed out that their association, members are frequently off-site and away from their desks, TeleSphere features such as simultaneous ring and voicemail-to-email will allow the organization to function more seamlessly.

 

“BOMA’s goals and objectives as an organization are right in line with the service TeleSphere is equipped to provide,” Clark Peterson, CEO at TeleSphere, said in a press statement. He also noted that a major part of commercial development—whether on a large or small scale—is the technology to support the businesses that operate within its walls, and he added, “By hosting voice and Internet solutions off-site, TeleSphere is able to significantly reduce the cost of that investment.”

 

BOMA, represents and promotes the interests of the commercial real estate industry throughout the Phoenix area, and is also a source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments.

 

Recently, the association has switched their phone and internet service to TeleSphere as a strategic upgrade allowing them the same infrastructure that until now was only available to larger corporations. BOMA representatives believe the infrastructure upgrade, designed for small- and medium-sized businesses, will provide the organization with a more reliable Internet service provider and remote office capabilities that allow its employees to correspond with members more effectively.
