Cablevision, a subsidiary of Grupo Televisa S.A., will deploy Auspice’s (News - Alert) advanced OpsLogic Suite of network service assurance solutions across its operations, customer support and field service systems throughout all of its markets.

Cablevision would use OpsLogic ServiceManager to support its voice and high-speed data services. ServiceManager is a proactive network health management solution providing real-time operations automation for network service assurance to reduce operational costs, increase service availability and improve network reliability.

Auspice provides network service assurance solutions that automate manual operation support processes for North America’s leading MSOs and communications service providers.

Auspice products monitor, integrate and correlate events across diverse network environments providing real-time monitoring, analysis and integration into customers’ network operations center (NOC (News - Alert)), customer support, and field service operations to proactively manage all their IP-based broadband services. Through the intelligent automation Auspice solutions deliver, customers realize tangible, documented business benefits that include increased reliability and operational efficiencies that deliver superior customer experiences and improve the bottom line.

Cablevision will also utilize OpsLogic CMUt, a bandwidth monitoring and capacity planning solution for tiered-service offerings that would allow Cablevision to effectively manage bandwidth distribution and allocation across their network to optimize infrastructure investments while improving the customer experience.

"Adding voice services to round out our triple-play offering requires a higher level of network service assurance – one with a real-time, 360 degree view of our subscribers and network,” Jean Paul Broc, chief executive officer of Cablevision said in a press release. “The Auspice OpsLogic solution gives us that capability and more. It allows us to be proactive in managing network data and events across our entire service delivery infrastructure – today and as we continue to add new subscribers and services in the future.”

"We’re very excited that Cablevision has chosen Auspice as their provider of a comprehensive network service assurance solution,” said Steven Birer, CEO of Auspice. “The fact that Cablevision recognized the need for an agile, proven solution to meet the high customer expectations that come with providing advanced services underscores why they are the market leader in Mexico.”

Cablevision is one of the largest cable television operators in Mexico based on its number of subscribers and homes passed.

Its concession area consists of Mexico City and surrounding areas in the State of Mexico, one of the largest cable television markets in Latin America and one of the largest cities in the world in terms of population.
