JAN-PRO Taps TalkSwitch as its Telephone System Provider

Telephone manufacturer TalkSwitch announced today that it has been tapped by commercial cleaning company JAN-PRO Franchising International as its preferred vendor of telephone systems for its franchises.

According to the new deal, TalkSwitch systems will be marketed to JAN-PRO's 5,000 individual franchise locations across North America, beginning with its 85 Master Dealers. Each Master Dealer will be responsible for selling and overseeing individual franchises within a specific geographic area.

Installation and support services for franchises requiring assistance in deploying TalkSwitch systems will be handled by certified TalkSwitch installer DecisionOne.

“JAN-PRO has been consistently recognized as one of today’s top franchise operations,” said TalkSwitch's president and CEO Jan Scheeren in a statement. “They are a great example of the type of multi-location organization that can really benefit from using TalkSwitch products. Our systems will give franchise operators the ability to communicate efficiently and affordably, helping to improve the bottom line while also increasing the level of customer service.”

With TalkSwitch’s solutions in place, franchise operators like JAN-PRO will be able to eventually migrate their telecommunications systems to VoIP should they choose.

“TalkSwitch understands what it means to be a small business,” stated JAN-PRO’s vice president Dennis Thompson. “They understand that our franchise operators need a reliable phone system that will help them improve efficiency, customer service and ensure they never miss a call. TalkSwitch systems do just that. They have a well-earned reputation in the industry and we think they’ll prove to be tremendously valuable to our franchisees.”

Each TalkSwitch telephone system features auto attendants that answer incoming calls with consistent messaging, extension call routing, built-in voicemail and on-hold music.

TalkSwitch systems are available with traditional telephone network connections or with combined traditional and VoIP network connections. VoIP capabilities can be added later to the traditional systems. TalkSwitch systems start as small as two incoming telephone lines with four local extensions, and can be increased to a maximum system size of 16 incoming lines with 32 local extensions per office.

TalkSwitch made news back in March when it announced its partnership with software developer Apparent Networks. The agreement will help TalkSwitch resellers ensure that their customers are “getting optimal performance out of their network equipment,” noted the companies’ news release.

The new agreement called for AppareNet to be the premier network assessment system for TalkSwitch resellers. By using AppareNet, TalkSwitch resellers will be able to assess the state of their customers’ networks; pinpoint and resolve configuration faults; and recommend necessary upgrades and improvements that will help them implement the perfect TalkSwitch system for each customer’s needs. The software also analyzes local area network performance including bandwidth loss and usage, and identifies existing and potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
