Investment dealer Blackmont Capital Inc., an independently operated subsidiary of CI Financial Income Fund, will be using Chalk's mobile communication software, Mobile chalkboard, to distribute multi-media BlackBerry (News - Alert) "pushcasts".
A "pushcast" refers to trackable, rich media content that is securely push delivered to a BlackBerry smartphone by Mobile chalkboard.
Chalk's new mobile content deployment system, Mobile chalkboard, allows multimedia content to be created, securely pushed and tracked on BlackBerry smartphones. The company’s software and content help organizations communicate with their employees, business partners and customers.
"Mobile chalkboard provides us with a unique, secure and trackable communication channel for our organization," Mike Binette, Managing Director, Blackmont Capital Inc said in a press release.
"We can incorporate graphics, audio and video into our pushcasts. We expect that Mobile chalkboard will improve the effectiveness and quality of our communications, and serve as an excellent differentiator."
"We are very excited that Blackmont Capital Inc. will be using Mobile chalkboard to enhance communications both within and outside of their enterprise", adds Stewart Walchli, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chalk.
"The financial sector is a fast-paced and competitive marketplace. Mobile chalkboard differentiates organizations and makes them more efficient."
This pact with Blackmont Capital Inc comes close on the heels of Chalk Media Corp. announcement in February that Strategic Investment Group has signed a three year contract for its Mobile Content Deployment Software for the BlackBerry platform, Mobile chalkboard.
