Let the people speak!
The readers of The Morning Call in Lehigh Valley, Pa., have once again selected RCN Corporation as the best cable TV and telephone provider in their area for 2006.
This is the third year in a row that RCN has been recognized by the publication’s readers. Apparently, the service provider is doing everything it can to keep its customers as satisfied as possible.
So what’s its secret? Rock bottom prices? Blazing fast broadband and high quality voice and video services? Impenetrable network security?
Apparently, it’s the company’s superb customer service.
“Every day RCN strives to better itself in all business areas, especially customer service, because superior customer satisfaction continues to set us apart,” said John Filipowicz, RCN Senior VP and general manager, in a company press release “The recognition of local residents is testament to our ongoing efforts, and we’re pleased that the readers of The Morning Call have chosen to voice their support of us again this year.”
RCN’s recognition comes as per The Morning Call’s Readership Awards – which are determined through an annual poll conducted in Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties, as well as the surrounding counties of Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Schuylkill and Monroe, plus Warren County, N.J. The newspaper boasts a Sunday readership of almost 400,000.
RCN also delivers its voice, video and Internet services in the Boston, New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles metropolitan markets. It delivers these services to over 1 million customers on its HFC network.
The company made news last month when it announced that it was rolling out a new quadruple play bundled package featuring wireless service – with MobilePro performing all supporting activities, including sales, provisioning, billing and customer care. The new RCN Wireless service will initially be offered to customers in the Boston area starting this month.
