Quintum Signs Value Added Distributor in Portugal

Quintum (News - Alert) Technologies, an innovator in VoIP technologies and a subsidiary of Network Equipment Technologies, Inc., has signed Netopolis, a value-added distributor in Lisbon, Portugal, to manage Quintum's efforts in developing its Tenor VoIP switch and gateway business.

 
Netopolis will also be focusing on new Microsoft initiatives with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.
 
In business since 1997, Netopolis specializes in communication and IT management solutions to the banking and finance sectors, as well as telecom service providers, encompassing a network of more than 100 active resellers and customers.
 
Netopolis' solutions include CRM, HelpDesk and customer service, call and contact centers, unified messaging and fax services. It holds certifications from Microsoft, Vertical, FACsys and Goldmine.
 
"Netopolis will bring a host of value-added services to Quintum customers in the Iberian market," said Cristovao Cunha, managing director of Netopolis, in a statement. "Netopolis plans to offer complete customer support packages including onsite installation, telephone support and advanced replacement contracts as well as pre-sales technical support, and is planning to launch Quintum technical training courses in Portugal before the end of this year."
 
For nearly 25 years, Network Equipment Technologies (News - Alert) (NET) has provided voice and data communications equipment for multi-service networks requiring high degrees of versatility, interoperability, security and performance.
