Envox Worldwide Recognized in the Influential Magic Quadrant as Visionary in IVR and Voice

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Envox Worldwide, a global provider of voice solutions, has been positioned in the Visionaries Quadrant of the Gartner (News - Alert) Magic Quadrant for IVR Systems and Enterprise Voice Portals, 2006 report. This highly regarded report evaluates vendors according to a set criteria including completeness of vision and ability to execute within the IVR and Voice Portal market.

“We believe Envox’s positioning in this report is a confirmation that our vision for the industry is on track,” said Mark D. Flanagan, president and CEO of Envox Worldwide (News - Alert) in a statement on Tuesday.

“Since emerging on the market, Envox Worldwide has rapidly become the provider of choice for organizations seeking to replace their legacy IVR systems with next-generation VoIP and speech-enabled solutions that can increase automation rates by 100 percent or more, reduce total cost of ownership by 50 percent or more and ensure outstanding customer interactions.”

Envox provides next-generation voice solutions that uniquely combine:

--IP telephony to facilitate dramatic and far reaching costs savings through the elimination of toll costs, reduction of administration costs and maintenance fees.
--Personalized customer interactions as IVR solutions enable seamless information flow through CTI capabilities like screen pops in order to personalize the call to achieve first call resolution and satisfaction.
--Natural language speech user interfaces using advanced speech recognition technology to eliminate the complexity of touchtone IVR menu trees and boost automation rates by at least 100 percent.
--Business solutions based on the latest IT and communications standards to easily integrate with existing business systems such as the PBX, CRM systems, order entry systems and enterprise application servers.
--The leveraging of VoiceXML and Web services so that next-generation IVR solutions snap right into distributed Web architectures and are easily maintained by IT departments.

Regarding the Completeness of Vision axis, the report, authored by analysts Steve Cramoysan, Bern Elliot, and Drew Kraus, noted that “Gartner analysts evaluate voice response platform providers on their ability to convincingly articulate logical statements about current and future market direction, innovation, customer needs and competitive forces, as well as how well they map to the Gartner position. Ultimately, a voice response platform provider’s ‘Completeness of Vision’ rating is based on its understanding of how market forces can be exploited to create an opportunity for the provider and for its clients.”

Recognition by the Gartner Quadrant reports is a significant achievement for Envox and its voice solutions. The standards that have to be met to earn such a position are stringent and these companies are compared to some of the best in the world. This announcement will bode well for Envox and will better position the company not only in the market, but also in competitive situations where value will mean more than price.
