The PROGNOSIS IP

Telephony Management Reporter was launched Friday by Integrated Research. The new program is an add-on to the company's PROGNOSIS system performance monitoring and management software. The new program allows enterprises and managed service providers to gain access into IP telephony usage trends and service levels.
PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Manager’s reports can be scheduled at regular intervals, and they can be generated and distributed to individuals or multiple lists automatically. The program also allows administrators to generate reports on demand to identify and assist with troubleshooting problem trends.
The new PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Management Reporter supports Cisco Unified CallManager versions 3.3, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 and is an add-on product for the company's PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Manager Version 8.0.
“This new product demonstrates our ability and readiness to respond to market demand,” said Integrated Research’s general manager of VoIP

and IP telephony products Nathan Brumby in a statement. “The ability to understand service levels and capacity requirements has always been a fundamental challenge in traditional enterprise telephony and now the same needs must be met in the new domain of enterprise IP telephony. PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Management Reporter fulfils these requirements for enterprises and managed service providers alike.”
PROGNOSIS' software enables administrators to access call detail records such as calls in progress, delay-to-dial-tone rates, and incoming and outgoing calls by gateway bearer channel. Administrators can also use PROGNOSIS’ reports to differentiate incoming and outgoing calls and understand loading by route pattern, route group, route list, and gateway.
Integrated Research is making the PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Management Reporter available for US$75,000. This fee includes software for environments monitoring up to 5000 IP phones.
