Allworx (News - Alert) has presented Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) with the Allworx 2008 Partnership Excellence Awards, recognizing TI for its commitment to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology and its development partnership with Allworx.

 

The Allworx Partnership Excellence Award honors companies that consistently support Allworx’s aim to provide comprehensive communications features to small and medium businesses at a cost-effective price.

TI was honored during a recent ceremony at PAETEC Holding Corp. headquartered in Fairport, N.Y. Rich Templeton, TI chairman, president and chief executive officer, accepted the award and stated that their company is pleased at this recognition and is very proud of their support for Allworx.

 

TI works with many of the most innovative companies and design engineers in the world, and according to Templeton, Allworx definitely fits into that category. “Everyone at TI congratulates Allworx for their success in making VoIP a mainstream technology that provides real value for businesses,” he added.

 

Jeff Szczepanski, an Allworx founder and Chief Technical Officer, noted that their company has used TI chipsets to help tens of thousands of small and medium businesses expand their communications capabilities and improve overall business operations.
