Eagle Broadband (News - Alert) Inc., a leading innovator of broadband, Internet Protocol (IP) and digital communications technology, reported today that a prominent national communications technology corporation has chosen its Eagle SatMAX satellite-based communications technology and equipment for testing its NAL Research Iridium-modem-based products. The unnamed company has not only given Eagle an initial order for its SatMAX systems but has also installed one of them.

Eagle’s SatMAX technology offers a valuable solution for testing various kinds of Iridium-based technology.

Eagle Broadband’s SatMAX fixed and mobile solutions exploit the international Iridium-based satellite communications system to offer indoor/outdoor emergency communications capabilities. These include the emergency first responder SatMAX Alpha ‘SatMAX-in-a-suitcase’ technology.

Eagle Broadband also provides products and services in two other areas – IPTV and IT Services.

Through Eagle Broadband’s IPTVComplete service customers can access over 200 popular entertainment channels. Eagle also offers high-quality set-top boxes for routing these channels.
