Despite the rough economic climate, one company that does not have to worry about losing customers, at least in the near future, is Greenville, South Carolina-based Catalyst Telecom, a sales unit of ScanSource, a value-added distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions.
Customers of Catalyst Telecom (News - Alert) recently reported substantial growth and success since implementing the company’s Voice over IP (VoIP) for their end-user customers.
This positive news was revealed thanks for numerous assessment services that were conducted by customers prior to deploying CatalystVoIP solutions.
A VoIP assessment enables resellers to fully plan and test all components of their customers’ solutions. This includes everything from ensuring all parts meet manufacturers’ requirements to validating quality of service and analyzing metrics and verifying equipment.
Before installing the solution, resellers use a VoIP assessment to safeguard themselves against systematic and quality issues that might pop up in the in the future. By conducting a VoIP assessment resellers are able to reduce project overruns and post-production troubleshooting costs.
Most assessments are carried out remotely, as this allows the reseller to put test agents in place and collect on-site data as needed.
According to Catalyst Telecom President John Black, reseller partners are gaining enormous benefits by conducting this assessment test, and are also able to keep their end-users satisfied by fixing problems before they start.
“From improved customer service to reduced downtime, it’s an investment that can truly be considered an essential component for resellers looking to implement high-quality, successful VoIP solutions for their end-user customers. It really has become a necessity,” explained Black.
The company offers three different levels of VoIP assessments in an effort to meet every reseller need and budget. The assessments include Simple, Standard and Complete, and all provide a high level of value and personalized service.
