Tektronix Communications, a global provider of communications test and network intelligence solutions, has acquired Arantech, a supplier of customer experience management (CEM) solutions. The terms of the deal are yet to be disclosed.
“Addressing the customer experience gap is a critical component of the Arantech strategy and managing this gap is a top priority for carriers,” said Rich McBee (News - Alert), president, Tektronix Communications, in a release. “Together, the two companies will offer the most innovative, scalable customer experience management and monitoring solutions available today. By managing and optimizing the network from the customer perspective, carriers will be able to proactively build enhanced loyalty, strengthen their brand and increase revenue.”
Established in 1999, Arantech (News - Alert) is a provider of CEM systems to communications service providers globally. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Arantech supplies its product suite and a range of CEM consultancy services that are capable of delivering actionable business and technical options, enabling a complete view of all customers, 24/7/365, in real time, over any network or device.
Arantech’s touchpoint is designed to offer a simple proactive approach to first-line customer management, supporting any network, service or device type, through its touchpoint 360-degree desktop portal. CustomerWorld, is yet another solution from Arantech that provides the business customer stakeholder with a unique view of the customer base onto their desktop.
This deal further strengthens Tektronix Communications’ (News - Alert) Network Intelligence solution set by broadening the suite of applications offered to wireless operators around the world.
Tektronix Communications’ comprehensive set of solutions support a range of architectures and applications such as LTE, fixed mobile convergence, IMS, broadband wireless access, WiMAX, VoIP and triple play, including IPTV (News - Alert). The company reportedly has significant presence in the global wireless market with a worldwide support infrastructure and a strong financial position to enable continued growth for Arantech.
As stated, Arantech will continue to operate as an Arantech branded, stand-alone line of business within the Tektronix Communications’ Network Intelligence Solutions portfolio. Moreover, their solutions will remain equipment-vendor independent and will continue to work with any vendors.
Added to this, Arantech will also retain its own dedicated sales and services organization, R&D, marketing and product development.
