Kirgizstan Carrier Picks VocalTec for VoIP Network Rollout

Netcom, an alternative carrier in Kirgizstan, has chosen VocalTec (News - Alert) as the solution provider for its Next Generation VoIP network.
VocalTec’s solutions will be deployed throughout Netcom’s network across Kirgizstan and is expected to strengthen its infrastructure and presence in Kirgizstan. It will also effectively position Netcom for future network growth and expansion.
This deployment will be facilitated by VocalTec’s Essentra BAX Class-5 application server, which provides a comprehensive set of innovative residential and enterprise VoIP services.
The roll out will also be supported by VocalTec’s Essentra iCX and VocalTec’s Essentra EX - VoIP Peering (News - Alert) Manager. The former is a unique integrated SIP-to-SS7 Solution from VocalTec that provides seamless interconnection between VoIP and TDM networks. The Peering Manager allows the interconnection between disparate VoIP networks.
Netcom will leverage VocalTec’s solutions to provide its customers with state-of-the-art packet based telephony services. The deployment will also help the carrier to maintain strong quality of service and a high level of voice quality. Netcom can now cost effectively carry telephony traffic across its network and provide PSTN termination services throughout Kirgizstan and beyond.

VocalTec’s solutions are specifically designed to fit the needs of emerging market service providers such as Netcom, and the company seeks a longstanding relationship with Netcom as they solidify their position in the market.
