SoliCall, an Israeli-based, privately-held company focused on delivering better communications through improving existing platforms, has reportedly announced that its PBXMate is now available for H.323 VoIP Networks.
PBXMate is designed to improve the quality of voice calls through the reduction of both noise and echo in any VoIP/IP PBX (News - Alert) system. As more and more organizations are moving toward all IP networks, voice quality improvement is an important step. Even though VoIP offers significantly lower cost of operation, the quality has to be there in order for the savings to be legitimate.
The PBXMate from SoliCall (News - Alert) will also continuously monitor the quality of calls to ensure each and every call lives up to a customers’ expectation. The solution was initially used for VoIP networks using SIP signaling only and now can deliver even greater value in the market.
SoliCall added integration procedures to the H.323 signaling as a result of increased market demand. With this recent release, users can improve voice quality – removing noise and echo – and monitor quality in any VoIP network what works with either SIP signaling or H.323 signaling.
This launch is considered to be another step in the company’s strategy to widen its grip in the telecom sector. In July, SoliCall announced that InterMedia Marketing Solutions is set to implement the SoliCall PBXMate across its 500-seat call center.
SoliCall's PBXMate runs on Linux and Windows. SoliCall offers a free evaluation kit of its PBXMate for companies/organizations who are looking to improve & monitor voice quality in their VoIP networks.
To expand on the issue of call quality, TMC recently hosted the ITEXPO (News - Alert) West in Los Angeles, offering access to quality telecommunications information for vendors and clients alike. The issue of quality VoIP calls is so important that it was the topic of a focused session during the event.
If a company is on the line with a customer, they cannot afford for quality to be less than 100 percent. This session was designed to show companies how to achieve such a standard.
Despite this demand, market reports show this area down quite a bit from a year ago. This is not strange news in a global recession and it could point to a certain level of saturation. Some vendors could still be facing obstacles in convincing companies to make the change to VoIP as their investments in legacy systems are still significant.
No matter what the direction of the overall market, voice quality is still essential, helping to create a demand for SoliCall’s PBXMate. As the company continues to focus on this critical element of VoIP and IP environments, long-term sustainability should be within its reach.
