Smoothstone, Logista Offer Complete Suite of Hosted Services and On-Demand Applications

Smoothstone IP Communications, a provider of cloud-based unified IP communications services, has announced a partnership with Logista for the supply of its complete suite of hosted services and on-demand applications to Logista’s clients.


Smoothstone’s (News - Alert) suite of managed services and cloud-based applications include VoIP solutions, IP trunking services, unified threat management, MPLS networking, messaging and advanced collaboration tools.

Logista provides technology management solutions. It strives to help its enterprise clients reduce operating costs with increase in productivity by offering them suitable IT infrastructure Life Cycle Management solutions.

“Our strategic partnership with Smoothstone allows us to offer on-demand unified communication solutions that meet the needs of the most dynamic enterprises,” said Vic Murphy, VP of sales and marketing at Logista, in a release.

“Our customers are always looking for ways to reduce costs, enhance customer service and improve employee productivity. With Smoothstone, we can meet these business requirements and empower their employees to communicate, collaborate and securely access applications, regardless of where they are,” added Murphy.

Jon Jorgl, chief development officer, Smoothstone, pointed out that the partnership provides Logista with valuable unified IP communications elements which enhance productivity. Smoothstone on the other hand will be able to cater to a new customer segment with the provision of the managed voice services and cloud-based applications via Logista.

Smoothstone sources said that it provides unified IP communications services to medium sized companies. It also offers contact center solutions and its messaging and advanced collaboration tools form part of the unified suite of managed services and cloud based applications.

Besides the company’s solutions are scalable and on-demand applications and services can be integrated with a customer’s existing network and telecommunications infrastructure. Customers will be able to reduce operational processes and employee activities making it easy for them to migrate to unified IP communications when required.
