NGT to Enhance VoIP Services Programs with Key Additions

NGT to Enhance VoIP Services Programs with Key Additions

Hosted VoIP and IP trunking solution provider New Global Telecom (NGT) recently launched its new white label program to increase its reach into the SMB space. SMBs, despite not having the fiscal or human resources of large enterprises, have quite the same requirements of their phone systems. But smaller businesses also tend to lean toward working with familiar local providers rather than large national (or international names), for fear they will become lost among the larger customers.

Whether that fear is founded in truth or not remains largely irrelevant, as perception, in this case, precedes reality. To combat that perception, NGT resolved itself to deeper market penetration by allowing its channel partners to approach the SMB space with a self-branded solution.

To provide further impetus to its white label program — and to accelerate overall adoption of NGT’s wholesale services — NGT has now brought on two new key personnel. Kevin Bostick has joined the firm as its new CFO, and David Sroka has been named Director of Sales.

Kevin Bostick comes to NGT with a diverse background, including a stint on Wall Street with JPMorgan Securities. In the communications space, he was with Level 3 Communications (News - Alert), where he served as SVP/Treasurer, and ultimately became general manager of the firm’s dial-up Internet access business. Since then, he has also provided consulting services to several media and telecom start-ups. Given his background in financial services and telecom, NGT has surely strengthened its leadership and positioned itself well to further expand its VoIP business in a densely populated and complex marketplace.

David Sroka has 12 years of sales, marketing, and management experience, most recently as director of sales for service provider markets at Pac West. There, he oversaw both indirect and indirect channel programs — clearly an experience that will serve NGT well as he prepares to lead sales efforts at his new company. He has also groomed his experience through time with KMC Telecom and ICG Communications. His prior industry experience and knowledge, coupled with his proven sales leadership, is expected to translate into growth of NGT’s sales strategies in different markets.

“I’m very excited about these new additions to NGT’s current management team. The experience that Kevin and Dave bring will directly impact NGT’s ability to rapidly scale the organization to capture the explosive VoIP market opportunity,” said Mike Donnell, NGT’s President and CEO.
