Conversif Authorized as TelcoBridges Channel Partner

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Conversif, a privately held company focusing on telco-grade voice, video and content delivery solutions for the Carrier and ISP markets, reportedly has been approved as an authorized channel partner in the TelcoBridges Partner Alliance Program as a solution partner.

Conversif will complement TelcoBridges (News - Alert) by offering a range of Telecom applications for fixed, wireless and VoIP solutions.

“With a ‘carrier class’ product focus, Conversif and TelcoBridges share a common vision of creating best-of-breed global telecom solutions and delivering increased value to our service provider customers. Our two companies are a natural fit in the Carrier and ISP segment,” said Mike Ross (News - Alert), president and CEO of Conversif, in a statement.

Ross said that when Conversif software applications are running on the TelcoBridges award winning hardware platforms, the company is able to support very high capacity, carrier grade computer telephony services.

“Our goal is to deliver a high integrity, highly robust architecture which will provide the lowest total cost of ownership to carriers and ISPs,” he said.

Conversif officials said that the TelcoBridges partnership will allow the company to deliver seamless voice interoperability across TDM, wireless and IP networks, with support for core telecom features such as VoIP, trans-coding, tandem switching and advanced call routing.

Conversif’s primary applications deliver ring-back tones, unified communications, pre-paid/post-paid calling, conferencing, Fax over IP (T.38), IP Centrex, voice mail, IVR, SMS, voice logging, video and other related enhanced services.

“Our partnership gives TelcoBridges additional reach into the Carrier Services market globally and the ability to rely on our strength in the application area to satisfy the needs of these customers,” Ross said.

In October Conversif and Interact Incorporated (News - Alert) announced that they entered into a distribution agreement for Interact’s VoiceXML (News - Alert)/CCXML software development product, SPOT.

With this announcement, Conversif said it became the first value added reseller to offer a full range of design, development, deployment and support services for Interact’s SPOT product offering.
