Intec, a global provider of business and operations support systems (BSS/OSS), has announced that its Interconnect v7.1 is being deployed by Digicel Pacific Limited, the fastest-growing mobile operator in the Pacific region, across all its Pacific affiliates.

Intec Interconnect v7.1 is the latest generation of the world's most powerful, flexible and reliable system for domestic, international and ITU-based billing and settlements.

It also has the capacity to handle national carrier traffic levels. Interconnect v7 also enables inter-partner settlement for IP-based services provided over next generation networks, including multi-party settlement with a variety of enterprises like content providers, for services like Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), content downloads and multimedia messaging.
