NxGen Networks Inc., a provider of value-added products and services for construction companies, has selected Nexaira's Business Class Router to deploy its carrier class management platform, Site Boss 2.0.
Nexaira was selected by NxGen for its high availability business class functions and custom technical services.
NxGen officials say they've created a robust and scalable enterprise network management platform leveraging the latest HSPA network that provides such management functions as URL filtering, daily usage, and user access management.
"Nexaira is proud to be working with NxGen to provide wireless high speed connectivity solutions to the construction market that enable construction sites to create a robust networked office environment at every off-site location," said Bob Young, EVP business development of Nexaira, in a statement.
Young said that even though the construction industry is faced with limited landline access in their remote sites, they still require professional networking solutions that are flexible, reliable and secure.
He said that NxGen's Site Boss solution with Nexaira's Routers and advanced routing protocols are the right choice for the construction industry today.
"After an extensive evaluation of 3G/4G routers NxGen is excited to be working with Nexaira as a key supplier for our next generation Site Boss 2.0 portable office solution," said Kevin Speilman, president of NxGen Networks Inc.
Speilman said that Nexaira's exceptional performance, open source platform, and superior i3 GUI will enable the company to deliver new features the clients have been asking for.
"Nexaira's strength in routing and hardware development combined with our VoIP and managed service offering enable NxGen to offer a solution that is unique in today's marketplace," he said.
Officials with Nexaira said that the BCII router connecting business functionality to construction sites by offering Internet access, voice and fax services for improved communications and productivity, offers connectivity and ease of use with the NexWare i3 GUI for easy and quick installation to all construction sites.
