By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor

TelCentris Inc., an innovator in cloud-based unified communications and VoIP solutions for business, consumer and wholesale markets, announced that Page Transportation Inc. or "Page Trucking" has picked TelCentris' hosted Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP business phone services for its nine offices in the United States.

TelCentris sources added that Page Trucking joins a growing list of customers who have selected its services for handling there businesses which are characterized by multiple offices distributed in different geographical locations. Page Trucking will benefit as it is a bulk trucking solutions company.
TelCentris has released a free strategy guide titled, "Taking Communications to the Cloud: 5 Ways a Hosted VoIP Solution Can Benefit Multi-Office Businesses." This guide is available for download form the TelCentris Web site.
Page Trucking is involved in the business of transporting commodities across the continental U.S. and Canada. The company has offices throughout the eastern region, including Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey and Ohio, with headquarters in Weedsport, New York.
In order to connect these widespread offices the company was desirous of implementing an alternative system to normal traditional phone systems which were actually expensive and inflexible. Page Trucking selected TelCentris for its experience, service reliability and customer support, added TelCentris sources.
The hosted services provided by TelCentris enables Page Trucking to get free office-to-office calling and reduced fees on outbound calls. Customer will be able to save a lot of time and money when compared to traditional phone systems. Employees' efficiency will be enhanced as management of communications between them such as call forwarding to any phone number or group of numbers is possible. Other services include conference calling and fax-to-email.
These settings can be managed on-demand via a convenient Web-based portal. Also employees can connect with fellow workers in other states by using a three-to-four digit dialing. Another advantage is the centralized billing and customer support.
Page Trucking had to employ the services of separate phone carriers and customer support staff in each geographical location before. But TelCentris allowed it to centralize the billing and customer support service through one vendor.
"We were looking for a VoIP leader that understood our needs and had a successful track record for handling large, growing businesses like ours," said Piper Titus, controller at Page Trucking. "TelCentris will help us lower costs and increase our communication ROI."
TelCentris sources added that a custom package was created for Page Trucking that served its specific communication needs and also made it extremely easy to get up and running. The package included pooled minutes between locations, brand new Polycom (News - Alert) high-definition phones, and a dedicated project manager that takes care of the implementation process, training and offers ongoing support also. TelCentris can easily equip each new office with additional phone lines, hardware and Internet services as Page Trucking grows its business.
