VoIP Customers Get 3 Month Free Service Offer from Net2Phone
By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor
With companies closing shop at every given opportunity and customers left stranded in the middle of nowhere, there have been lots of doubts expressed over the long term commitments of the VoIP
companies. The most recent company to close down was SunRocket (News - Alert), which left lot of customers confused and struggling to adjust with the new companies which ‘adapted’ them. So it’s not enough for the companies if they just provide good service to the customers; they need to instill the confidence, they need to make the customers trust them.
According to a report in Business Wire, Net2Phone will do just that. The company is offering a 3 month free service offer to VoIP Customers switching over from other networks to the Net2Phone services. The company has been providing VoIP services since 1996 and it wants to make sure that it invokes the trust of the customers when they switch over to its service. The customers who opt for Net2Phone's VoiceLine service will get three months free call service and a free telephone adapter upon request.
The customers of Net2Phone VoiceLine service will get unlimited local and long distance calling to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. If the customer is too attached to his/her old phone number, he can keep it too. Apart from this, the service has features like VoiceMail, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Speed Dial, and 3-Way Calling. If the customer is looking at making lot of international calls, he can get inexpensive call rates for more than 250 countries.
With the recent developments in the VoIP industry, it’s really going to be a hard task for the VoIP companies to get the customers confidence in the VoIP calling concept. When seemingly established companies like SunRocket leave customers stranded, a number of people will think twice before they rely on VoIP completely. With more than a decade of VoIP service experience, Net2Phone should be the company to do it.
