Convergia, a telephone service provider, released new IP-PBX (News - Alert) Business phone systems that feature Find Me – Follow Me capabilities.
The Find Me – Follow Me calling (FM / FM) technology has been designed to help a caller find a person, irrespective of his or her location, through the creation of a telephone call schedule. The technology helps business users stay connected with their customers, business associates and workforce from anywhere in the world, all the time.
Convergia stated that the Find Me – Follow Me features were integrated into its phone systems to provide its customers with a seamless service, even when users are not at their desks. Users can specify instructions as to where to be contacted based on the time, caller ID and/or type of call. The system searches through the provided numbers in sequence, so that the user will never miss a call.
