Intermedia’s customers are in for a treat, as it has announced enhancements to its Hosted PBX (News - Alert) offering, a scalable VoIP-based business phone system that takes no installation or equipment and offers unlimited calling in the US and Canada. It’s an enterprise-grade offering, made available to SMBs at an affordable price.
Intermedia’s (News - Alert) Hosted PBX can integrate with Exchange and Outlook, enabling the phone and e-mail services to help customers run faster and more efficiently than before. To sweeten the deal, new customers who sign up for a one year contract will receive free Cisco (News - Alert) phones for all their users and Intermedia’s 500,000+ end users can receive free conference bridges.
Included in the services offered by Intermedia, are the integration of e-mail, contacts, calendars, voice, and IM technologies, as well as services such as click-to-call. Voicemails can be listened normally, or sent to them as an e-mail, while users can access Intermedia’s HostPilot Control Panel to manage its capabilities from any browser and iOS or Android (News - Alert) device.
"In order to maintain the highest level of competitiveness in a market, SMBs need the same business-grade phone services that power the largest enterprises, but in an affordable and easy-to-use system," says Michael Gold, president of Intermedia. "Our Hosted PBX empowers staff to communicate more effectively, simplifies management through a powerful web-based control panel, and offers the cost structure and worry-free experience to ensure a company's phone system keeps pace with its business growth."
The Hosted PBX service from Intermedia is easily manageable, quick to deploy, and can provide clear cost savings. SMBs can benefit greatly from such services, gaining capabilities that were previously only available to enterprises while still affordable. The free phones are a nice addition as well, but they can’t compare to the benefits and savings of a good Hosted PBX.
