CBCI Telecom, a company specializing in Visual Communications, has been selected as an authorized reseller of Vpod in Canada.
CBCI specializes in the integration of TelePresence, Videoconferencing and audiovisual solutions, and has been serving the corporate, health, education and government communities of Canada for more than 20 years. Now the new partnership enables CBCI Telecom to offer Vpod products to its Canadian-based clients, along with offerings of video conferencing and Telepresence (News - Alert) technologies.
VPOD products are used to deliver unique compact spaces for video collaboration or transform boardrooms into virtual meeting centers.
"Users get the impression that they are sitting around the same table to permit a more natural and fluid environment for communicating and sharing ideas," said Denis Dumouchel, president of the CBCI Telecom. "Vpod has demonstrated that building quality RRA-approved rooms for immersive Telepresence need not be a painful process and is great fit with CBCI Telecom's product and service portfolio."
CBCI Telecom is at the forefront of Canada's adoption of telepresence and videoconference in making visual communications simple and effective for business.
Last October, the company announced that it had achieved 200 percent growth in client CBCI Video Managed Services contracts in H1 2011 compared to H1 2010.The significant growth in client additions is primarily because businesses are adopting videoconference as a preferred visual communication method.
The use of CBCI Video Managed Services offers cost benefit to business customers. Organizations representing all vertical markets are embracing CBCI Video Managed Services to enhance video conference access and its capabilities.
Leveraging the technical advantages of CBCI solutions, company officials said, current clients tap into the CBCI Telecom infrastructure and a dedicated team of video conferencing specialists for their specific service needs.
