Small offices have as much a need for strong telecommunications as anything, and that need is always increasing. Fortunately, AT&T has introduced a new four-line Small Business Phone (News - Alert) System, provided by Advanced American Telephones.
With this new system, small offices can elevate their telecommunications with a variety of available features.
The new AT&T (News
- Alert) Small Business System is accessible at major office supply stores, and is built on the MS2085 console. It can be expanded to four lines by 16 stations by adding up to 15 desksets through the office Ethernet, without needing any additional wiring.
Furthermore, each deskset can be customized with MS2025 cordless handsets or Tl7600 cordless headsets, providing mobility in the office.
With this system, users will get an auto attendant, hold music and cordless accessory capacity. As it’s an out-of-the-box setup, there’s no need for professional installation, nor is there a need for a telecommunications provider to maintain the system. It also includes robust functionality to improve productivity, including a full duplex speakerphone on corded sets, large display screens, and a digital answering system with a dedicated mailbox and room for an hour’s worth of messages.
“Business size, cost and installation requirements are no longer barriers to bringing a professional-quality phone system into a small office,” said Matt Ramage, Advanced American Telephones’ senior VP of product management. “This user-friendly, technology-rich phone system has been designed for small offices, with built-in ‘big business’ features and the convenience of retail availability.”
There’s a certain level of quality one naturally expects from AT&T, and this new system meets it. It’s made for small offices, so larger businesses with many locations need not apply, but those with small locations and a big need for quality telecommunications will certainly be interested.
