ETI (News - Alert), a company working on offering modern and powerful technologies to its clients and allowing them to concentrate on their activities and opportunities to develop and conquer new markets, has recently picked 4Motion 802.16e from Alvarion (News
- Alert), provider of optimized wireless broadband solutions.
ETI officials said that they picked Alvarion’s 4Motion 802.16e solution after thorough evaluation in order to expand their broadband network from the capital city, Conakry and covering an area of 246,000 square kilometers (94,981 sq mi) in the country.
“After having gained experience with Alvarion’s 4Motion over past four years, we were confident in our decision to continue using it as we expand our network from Conakry to cover the rest of the country,” states Latif Taleb, founder and CEO of ETI. “Alvarion’s solution demonstrated the necessary QoS, including wire-quality voice and heavy data services that we require in order to deliver a superior customer experience.”
Alvarion's all-IP 4Motion solution is the foundation of the company's WiMAX (News - Alert) ecosystem, combining BreezeMAX and other best-of-breed systems. Designed with high interoperability, 4Motion provides a complete ecosystem at the network level, enabling operators to be most responsive to the latest consumer electronic devices, service offerings and new industry applications. 4Motion promises to offer anytime, anywhere wireless broadband connectivity for the most demanding, bandwidth-hungry, packet-based applications.

ETI has been in partnership with Alvarion for a long time now and is using its licensed solutions to provide Internet access, voice and data services, and backhauling.
