Sitel Expands its Customer Care Call Center in Amarillo, Texas, Hiring 100 Employees

Sitel, a major player in outsourced customer care services, has recently announced that it will recruit 100 new employees in its customer care call center in Amarillo, Texas.

The hiring will help Sitel to support an expanding global satellite TV client. Officials said that the newly recruited Amarillo associates will provide inbound technical care support.


In order to hire new employees, Sitel is working in close-collaboration with Texas Workforce Solutions. The company is also hosting an onsite job fair at Sitel, located at 4945 Canyon Drive, on Monday, August 20, 2012.

"As we strive to mean more to our clients, the recent expansion within the Amarillo call center is a direct result of our commitment to meet their objectives in terms of providing outstanding customer service. These positions will begin as soon as the first week of September," said Mike Thompson, site director of Sitel's Amarillo facility. "We continue to create deeper relationships with our clients, through better processes, cutting edge technology, and outstanding performance from our people."

Officials said that the prospective applicants interested in joining the talented team in Amarillo are encouraged to come down and learn more about the position openings from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Interested candidates can also apply online in Sitel's "Careers" section at www.sitel.com. To apply for the job, previous customer service experience and strong computer knowledge is preferred.

In related news, Sitel has recently expanded its footprint in the Philippines by opening a new call center in Eton, Manila.
