Sapiens is already recognized as a software solutions provider in the insurance industry. Recently the firm strengthened its portfolio with the announcement of several modules that had gone live in partnership with the Anadolu Insurance Company, a private insurer that is currently operating in Turkey.
Anadolu has said that in order to compete in what has become a rather competitive market in Turkey, it needed to transform its operations by replacing its general insurance/property and casualty systems. It choice for the upgrade was the Sapiens Policy Administration, Agency Management and Billing and Collection modules. Where the old systems were difficult to maintain and slow to adapt and improve when it came to meeting future needs, Sapiens is future ready.
"One of the main reasons we chose Sapiens IDIT is because it's a component-based software solution suite that can be deployed modularly," Mehmet Abaci, chief information officer at Anadolu said in comments about the upgrade. "We've been able to go live gradually and smoothly migrate millions of contacts, without any disruption to our day-to-day operations. This has been a crucial success factor during our transformation project."
Anadolu belives that this new system will make their employees more efficient while providing a user experience that is going to be better for all the company’s stakeholders. It notes that Sapiens IDIT will position Anadolu to more quickly offer new products to that increasingly competitive Turkish market. Both firms believe that this particular go-live is a rather key milestone when it comes to a larger transformation project that started with Anadolu introducing individual medical insurance for group medical and fire lines as well as other personal and commercial lines in the insurance business soon.
