President and CEO of ATCOM Business Technology Solutions David Finch (News - Alert), has announced that the company has completed installing a new Mitel 3300 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system for Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU). Leveraging the Mitel (News - Alert) 3300 VoIP communications system, LCCU which is headquartered in Durham, will now be able to link up with nine of its other branches located across North Carolina.

The Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) was set up as a nonprofit financial institution which offers financial assets protection, offers loans, supports programs enabling financial independence and finances educational loans.

The new Mitel 3300 platform which comprises of a fully synchronized, central Unified Messaging voicemail system will allow LCCU to access email and voicemail from a desktop. Additionally, it features a text to speech capability which means LCCU can check emails and voicemails from any type of telephone even from remote locations.

Furthermore, the VoIP system will enable easy call handling from the desktop and allow integration with Outlook. LCCU will also benefit from an Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) reporting package which allows reporting and history recording options. Additionally, a twinning feature available in the package enables multiple phones to ring simultaneously on incoming calls.

In a release, David Finch said that “We are pleased to partner with the Latino Community Credit Union, and connect all 10 of their locations with the installation of the Mitel 3300 system. The VoIP platform and its various features provide LCCU with the ability to communicate seamlessly, offering plenty of room for future growth and expansion.”
