LiveVox (News - Alert), a provider of Private VoIP Cloud contact center applications and IP PBX solutions, announced it has won the 2011 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC (News - Alert)) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine, a leading contact center technology publication.
TMC’s award comes on the heels of several such recognitions LiveVox's cloud contact center technology has won in the recent past. This is the second consecutive year LiveVox received TMC’s Product of the Year Award. Prior to this, the solution also won the American Teleservice Association's Technovation award and Frost & Sullivan's (News - Alert) "Best Brand" award.
The LiveVox platform consists of ACD/PBX, predictive dialer, IVR, call recording and reporting. The company recently added ACD/PBX to its suite of contact center applications. With an integrated ACD/PBX, the cloud call center suite from LiveVox now eliminates the need for costly site-premised PBXs, while still providing all the robust features including business analytics, hosted predictive dialers, IVR, and call recording.
"Contact centers understand the benefits cloud computing can bring but are still searching for vendors who can integrate highly scalable applications and simplify their operations." said Louis Summe, chief executive officer, LiveVox, in a statement. "Large call centers are complex. LiveVox's PCI-certified cloud platform enables them to migrate to an efficiency and productivity improving architecture with a sensible and secure migration path."
In 2011, LiveVox also developed features to help contact centers manage compliance. Some of them include Account Penetration Settings and Click-to-Call Manual Dialing for cell phones. These features, along with the ACD/PBX integration, allow contact centers to migrate to VoIP/MPLS and leverage the cloud without on-site switching. This improves call routing, simplifies contact center networking, and reduces hardware expenses.
"LiveVox received a 2011 Product of the Year Award for its dedication to quality in solutions that benefit the customers' overall experience as well as ROI for their clients," said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), chief executive officer, TMC, in a statement. "Customer Interaction Solutions magazine has been honoring innovative companies for 13 years and LiveVox has earned its place with this distinguished honor."
