3CX, a provider of Windows-based PBX (News - Alert) software, released a new cloud-ready version of its VoIP IP PBX, 3CX Phone System.
The new 3CX Phone System Multi Tenant opens a new market opportunity for 3CX Partners as it allows them to host 3CX Phone (News - Alert) System for customers who don’t have their own dedicated server.
Leveraging the new 3CX Phone System Multi Tenant, 3CX partners can offer hosted 3CX service to customers in an easy and cost effective manner, according to company officials. Partners can now host up to 10 3CX Phone System instances on just one Windows operating system, so they can save on additional hardware costs and Windows license fees.
As 3CX Phone System Multi Tenant allows partners to host their customer’s PBX themselves, they don’t have to give up the control of their customers to a 3rd party hosting company.
"With the multi-tenant version, 3CX Phone System is now fully ‘cloud ready,’” said Nick Galea, 3CX CEO, in a statement. “Resellers can easily offer a hosted version of 3CX whilst retaining control of deployment and customer accounts. A hosted PBX is especially suitable for smaller installs of up to 10 extensions and will offer resellers recurring income.”
The new cloud-ready service also gives 3CX partners the ability to have complete control over the hosted PBX and offer technical support. As there is no 3rd party hosting companies involved in this system, there is no fear of customers dealing with the 3rd party providers directly than with 3CX partners.
3CX offers three editions of the Phone System Multi Tenant: Mini, Small, Business or Pro. Additional services such as Advanced Real Time Queue Statistics, as well as Listen, Listen and Whisper and Barge in features are also available. 3CX Phone System Multi Tenant also allows for easy backup and restoration of each individual PBX.
Recently 3CX also announced it has selected AKA Computer Consulting as its Authorized Partner. The new partnership will enable AKA Computer Consulting to offer 3CX’s solutions to its regional clients and build their business through the sale, implementation and service of phone system, auto attendant and call center solutions.
