Digerati Technologies DID Service Now in Over 50 Countries

Digerati Technologies, Inc., an established and award-winning provider of cloud communication services, has expanded its global coverage. The company can now provide its enterprise customers with direct inward dialing (DID) service in over 50 countries worldwide.


Through its global partnerships, Digerati's expanded DID coverage includes countries in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Officials with Digerati Technologies said that the global DID service allows Digerati to provide in-country local telephone numbers to business customers with offices outside of the United States.

Company officials said that Digerati is experiencing a growing demand for foreign telephone numbers and international calling from enterprise customers subscribing to Digerati's cloud-based services. Business customers are also seeking solutions that allow for cost-effective communications on a global scale.

"Providing global DID services is a good example of how a seamless combination of our global network with our cloud-based applications increases the value-proposition of our product line,” said Arthur L. Smith, CEO of Digerati, in a statement.

Smith said that businesses are looking for a one-stop-shop for cloud-based applications and global communication services, so it's important that the company continues to enhance its coverage to serve customers in every region of the world.

“We are also paying particular attention to countries expected to experience a spike in demand, such as Brazil that will be hosting the World Cup in 2014," he said.

In January, Digerati Technologies had announced it has selected Global Convergence Solutions' (News - Alert) (GCS) Dynamic Route & Rate Management Solution as its operational system to support its global session-based network.

GCS' Dynamic real-time system capabilities are a key building block for the company's next-generation technology platform that will replace Digerati's current back office system for managing global routes. The deployment of GCS' (News - Alert) system will create operating efficiencies which will allow Digerati to scale its business rapidly while maximizing revenues and margin for its global VoIP services.
