Nu-Way Industries Deploys Comcast Business VoiceEdge Solution

Comcast (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of information and communications products and services, recently announced that Comcast Business VoiceEdge, a cloud-based voice and unified communications (UC) solution, has been selected by Des Plaines, Ill.-based Nu-Way Industries, a company specializing in design and fabrication of precision metal products.

Business VoiceEdge offers a complete managed voice solution allowing companies to focus on its business instead of business communications. With Business VoiceEdge all voice communications services are managed by Comcast. The managed voice solution minimizes capital expenditures, eliminates the need to manage and maintain a premise-based PBX (News - Alert) or key system, and ensures the voice communications system has the latest upgrades and technology. Moves/adds/changes and management of multiple locations are simple with Business VoiceEdge in contrast to a premise-based system. Business VoiceEdge allows the users to choose a package that’s right for each user type, catering the communication system to each individual in the organization.

"With our old phone system, call quality was often poor, making it necessary some times for customers to call our salespeople on their cell phones. In related news, Comcast recently announced that Skype (News - Alert) on Xfinity, a new widescreen HD video calling experience, is available in Houston. With Skype on Xfinity, customers are able to make and receive video calls from their TV in HD picture quality, as well as send and receive instant messages via Skype while watching TV at the same time.
