N-able Technologies revealed a technology coalition with Mitel (News - Alert). This technology alliance integrates Mitel’s flexible IP communications software solution, Mitel Communication Director (MCD) with N-able’s N-central NSM software platform to provide MSPs worldwide a customized VoIP monitoring service.
With this new technology, MSPs and IT leaders can serve their customers 24/7 and deploy their call control software in a virtualized environment. The Virtual MCD controls VMware vSphere 4 to enable MSPs to combine Mitel’s voice and unified communications applications besides non-voice business applications.
The deal between N-able Technologies, renowned for remote network and systems management (NSM) software that serves IT departments and managed service providers (MSPs) and Mitel Networks serving business communications solutions and services with unified communications and collaboration software applications helps businesses to improve productivity through a single business continuity plan and efficient management.
Commenting on the partnership, Paul Butcher (News - Alert), president and chief operating officer for Mitel, said, "This new technology alliance with N-able will make it possible for our mutual partners to deliver managed services remotely while monitoring communications information for their customers from one centralized console."
Making these two powerful solutions interoperate gives MSPs a valuable tool for expanding their businesses and providing added value to customers, added Butcher.
Gavin Garbutt, N-able Technologies president and CEO, said, “The alliance supports N-able's initiatives for ensuring partner success by investing in the business acumen, technology and services that MSPs need to deliver a high-value, high-performance 100 percent IT coverage model to their customers.”
“We're very pleased to partner with Mitel to offer this compelling technical integration to our mutual partner base. As demand for VoIP continues to grow, our partners will be able to take advantage of Mitel Communications Director which is designed to optimize communications system performance for their customers,” added Garbutt.
Other services offered by N-able include self-healing automation, backup and replication, performance monitoring and extensive support for Windows 7 devices.
Mitel recently launched the Mitel Freedom architecture, a single, cloud-ready hosted exchange software stream that delivers an array of communications options for businesses looking to integrate a voice solution into best-in-class networks and applications.
