Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) will host a free full-day, hands-on training session on Jan. 31 at ITEXPO in Miami Beach, Florida, to teach attendees how to configure and troubleshoot the Vega series of products.

Sangoma specializes in providing hardware and software components to companies to setup or enhance their IP Communications Systems (News - Alert) for both telecom and datacom applications. Sangoma’s data boards, voice boards, gateways, and connectivity software are all used in applications worldwide.

“With the escalating global interest in Vega series products, and the marked increase in sales volume that we’ve experienced over the past few months, we feel that it makes good business sense to offer this session at a premier event such as ITEXPO (News - Alert) East,” said Simon Horton, Director of product Management for Sangoma.

This free training session will help expand companies’ knowledge of not only what the products can do, but also how to use them efficiently. “This session is a great opportunity to ensure that our distribution partners are ready to benefit from the tangible value that the Vegas series can deliver to their customers,” said Horton.

Horton also said that Sangoma has a lot more in store for its users. “Sangoma is rapidly expanding the breadth and depth of interworking features and functions across the entire Vega line of products. We will be introducing new solutions for service providers and businesses alike during the conference,” said Horton.

The conference will highlight many of the most popular Vega products and services including: Gateway (News - Alert) Portfolio, Practical 1, Useful Commands, and the configuration of numerous voice services. The session will also include overviews of current products and applications, while also giving attendees the first look at what’s to come.

Horton said Miami was chosen as the place to give the free session because of the support his company has received from international businesses. “This event includes strong participation from Latin and Central America, and as our products gain market-share in those regions, ITEXPO is the perfect venue to deliver relevant information to our partners that are targeting those markets,” said Horton.

ITEXPO East 2012 begins on Jan. 31 at 9:00 a.m. and is being held in the Miami Beach Convention Center. Registration is required to attend.
