Louis Hayner (News - Alert), the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of Warwick Valley Telephone Company, will be presenting on channel education through certifications at ITEXPO East in Miami, Florida. Executives from Apptix (News - Alert) and Crystal Technologies Group will be also a part of this discussion which has been titled "Educating the Channel with Industry Standard Certifications." The discussion has been scheduled for February 1st from 2:30-3:15pm.

In a release, Hayner said, "It's imperative for service providers to work closely with the channel, providing them with the tools they need to be successful. Even more important, however, is the provision of a structural foundation of industry standards and guidelines and the ability to support channel partners in meeting these industry requirements. Education is crucial if the channel community is ever going to fully leverage the cloud. Industry standards will help boost customer assurance in cloud computing and ensure that service providers and the channel community are providing superior cloud-based solutions."

Hayne will also present a seminar titled "Enabling the Channel to Sell on Value" at the Telecom Reseller (News - Alert) Week. The seminar, which is a part of the free ITEXPO workshop for resellers and agents, has been scheduled on February 3rd at 11:45am. Attendees to the free seminar will be able to learn how to sell IP Communications equipment effectively. They will also receive proven tips and best practices to solve the challenges faced by resellers in today’s economy.
