Dialogic Announces Five New Distributors for its Products

Dialogic (News - Alert) Corporation, which develops open standards-based multimedia platforms for enterprises, today announced a list of distributors which will carry its products in the Americas. Included on the list are Alliance Systems (News - Alert), Arrow Electronics and its subsidiary AltTech, CommLogik, DCS Informatica and the Paracon division of ScanSource.

These distributor agreements are of the utmost importance to Dialogic - because it is the distributors that help get the products into the hands of enterprises and other organizations making the leap to IP communications. Having a network of distribution centers throughout the Americas not only enables Dialogic to get its products to its partners and customers – it also helps its partners and customers get the products they need quickly and easily. Furthermore, selecting high quality distributors (with high quality integration and support services) helps Dialogic provide the level of service its customers expect – and guarantees customer satisfaction.

“We wanted to make sure we had the best distributors available, and also a diverse group so that our customers could choose the exact level of service they need throughout the Americas,” said Rob Martinez, vice president of Americas sales, Dialogic, in a press release. “After months of careful consideration, we are convinced that we have the right mix, and we are proud to welcome each of our distribution partners. We have worked with them all before with great success.”

Dialogic - which was formed last year when Eicon Networks completed its acquisition of Intel (News - Alert) Corporation’s Media and Signaling business (upon which it changed its name back to Dialogic Corporation, which is what it was called before Intel acquired it) – made the announcement during the Dialogic ONE Event 2007 for the Americas region, currently underway in Miami, Fla. The company is currently sponsoring the IP Communications Global Online Community on TMCnet – a website focused purely on IP communications for the enterprise.

As per the press release, here’s a run-down of the distributors, including some of the services they offer:

--Alliance Systems is a provider of server and storage solutions targeting the communications, enterprise and military markets. Founded in 1992, it provides computer infrastructure that supports wireless, VoIP, contact center, security, and video enterprise communications solutions.

--Arrow Electronics is a global provider of products, services and solutions to the electronic component and computer product industries. Headquartered in Melville, N.Y., the company has more than 270 locations in 53 countries and territories. Dialogic customers can also take advantage of the services of Alternative Technology Incorporated (AltTech), a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics. Alternative Technology is a leading North American specialty distributor for Value Added Resellers who need products and services targeted at thin-client/server-based computing, infrastructure/edge, security, network management, and wireless.

--CommLogik Group is a distributor of computer telephony, video conferencing hardware and software, and VoIP products in Latin America and the Caribbean. From its headquarters in Miami, Fla, it manages subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.

--DCS Informatica offers detailed recommendations to their customers to assure that they have the best products for their solutions. Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, DCS Informatica also supplies technical support, professional consulting, and development expertise to the Latin American market.

--Paracon is a leading value-added distributor of converged communications products, specializing in media processing and signaling products, and serving resellers, OEMs, service providers and developers. As a division of ScanSource Inc., a $1.6 billion specialty technology distribution company, Paracon’s Dialogic partners can take advantage of outstanding technical support, robust Dialogic inventory, creative financing options, and “the industry’s most experienced sales engineering team.”

Dialogic made news on TMCnet last month when it announced availability of seven new PCI Express compatible media boards. These latest boards are, essentially, sister products to the company’s PCI universal boards in terms of features and functionality, but also provide for complete backwards compatibility, enabling solution providers to integrate the new boards into their existing systems and applications with little modification.
