To take advantage of IBBS (News - Alert)-powered Residential Voice Services with integrated advanced calling features, three IBBS customers namely Davis Communications, Shen Heights and Nelsonville Cable TV have entered into multi-year contracts with IBBS, who provides voice and data services for broadband providers. Currently offering cable internet service, the three broadband providers will leverage IBBS’ rapid provisioning system and engineering capabilities to seize voice services and commercial services, currently the fastest growing opportunity in cable television.
Moreover, providers can get trained in best-in-class marketing and market penetration tactics that will help them successfully launch new and on-going service delivery. In a release, Bob Hobbs, vice president of business development and product management, including the new portfolio of voice services said, “Cable operators throughout the United States continue to see great value in creating bundled solutions with voice services playing a central role in those offerings. IBBS provides a compelling voice solution for cable operators, both large and small, as they can launch services quickly and efficiently to capture additional market share and create new revenue streams.”
Serving around 1,300 high-speed internet customers in Cheney, Four Lakes and Medical Lake, Washington, Davis Communication’s Voice offering will leverage IBBS solution to offer advanced services such as parallel calling, enhanced voicemail and other IP-enabled features. As one of the oldest and most technologically advanced providers in the region of Shenandoah, Penn, Shen Heights is expanding its service portfolio to include branded voice services. With a client base of around 2,100 cable internet customers, Nelsonville takes advantage of IBBS powered high-speed internet solution to provide triple play bundle that includes cable, high-speed internet and advanced voice services.
By leveraging industry leading back office systems and technical support services, IBBS’s fully integrated, advanced IP platform helps deliver residential voice services. A range of voice services such as basic and premium residential packages are offered along with integrated advanced calling features, thus providing value-add and marketing advantage. Ideal for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cable providers, IBBS Residential Voice Services can be availed without the need to purchase or maintain expensive on-site equipment. Consequently, broadband providers can easily ramp up their market strength by avoiding unnecessary investments in complex provisioning, monitoring and network administration processes and systems.
