IBBS Commercial Services Win 2009 Cable Product of the Year Award

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor has honored the Commercial Services product suite from Integrated Broadband Services, also known as “IBBS,” with a 2009 Product of the Year Award.

With IBBS’ (News - Alert) Commercial Services suite, Multi-Service Operators have the resources to develop, market, deploy and support advanced business solutions for small-to-medium enterprises.
Specifically, IBBS’ Commercial Services suite provides business-class high speed data and voice support, network monitoring and customer care, as well as a full suite of integrated offerings such as e-mail and collaboration with mobile synch, file storage and backup, managed firewall and VPN.
For more than 10 years, TMC (News - Alert) has been honoring companies with “Product of the Year” awards. These awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious and respected awards in the communications and technology sector. Companies selected to receive an award are prominent players in the market contributing to the advancement of technologies.
According to Mike Griffith (News - Alert), IBBS’ vice president and general manager for Commercial Services, “Today’s cable operators have a unique, time-sensitive opportunity to increase revenue by offering their customers a comprehensive package of advanced business-services. IBBS’ Commercial Services offering is a direct response to this development, and is a true “solution” that extends beyond technology into sales. We are honored to be recognized by TMC for the quality of our solutions.”
IBBS also recently launched a Broadband Network Services platform that utilizes cloud computing technology. Deployed as a software-as-a-service, or “SaaS (News - Alert),” model, this newly launched powerful and highly-functional platform is said to improve broadband network performance and availability, as well as lower event recovery time.
