Tagged is a social network for meeting old friends and new people. Whereas other social networks focus on connecting existing friends and acquaintances, Tagged is especially for social discovery; it is a place where people having similar interests or hobbies can meet one another. Tagged is based out of San Francisco, and it has been consistently ranking top among the largest social networks. Tagged Inc. was co-founded in mid 2004 by entrepreneurs Greg Tseng and Johann Schleier-Smith, who wanted to build a ‘Teen Yahoo or the next MTV.’
Tagged is visited by 6.8 million US users and 26 million users around the world each month. It has 3 million daily active users and around 200 million page views each day. Members are able to play social games, build and customize profiles, give and receive gifts, meet other members and more. More than 80 million users around the world have registered with Tagged.
