Callvine (News - Alert) has launched an HD Voice conferencing app which will benefit iPhone (News - Alert) users by offering them clear, high-definition audio conferencing and greater call control. This flexible, reliable and user-friendly app has a number of features that have been specially customized for business executives. This creative app provides HD Voice over Wi-Fi along with robust business-class features that leverage TurboBridge’s proven conferencing platform
In a release, Rudy Prince, CEO and founder of Callvine said, “With the increased use of mobile phones on conference calls, sound quality has truly taken a beating, making many calls unintelligible and inefficient. Now wherever there is good quality Wi-Fi, iPhone users can conference with natural and vibrant sound, conveying more of the subtleties of the human voice. Within buildings and homes, Wi-Fi connections also avoid the annoyance of dropped calls while eliminating the use of mobile minutes and international dialing charges.”
Business users will be able to enhance their efficiency during meetings with Callvine’s app and service, which allows connections in normal-sounding HD Voice. The app offers a live dashboard which allows users to host and coordinate calls in a simplified manner and also administer conferences. The dashboard also allows users to generate and supervise groups for calling and group texting.
Prince went on to say, “Today, high-definition audio conferencing is enjoyed in many conference rooms through VoIP conference phones. Utilizing TurboBridge’s HD conferencing technology – already being used by communications industry leaders such as Broadvox and LogMeIn (News - Alert) – we’re able to bring unparalleled HD audio quality, live conference controls, and free HD recordings to the iPhone. There’s also less wasted time by synchronizing meeting start times with push alerts while the conference host can further manage call quality by instantly muting noisy connections from the app’s dashboard.”
Polycom (News - Alert)-licensed industry-standard G722.1 wideband codec has been deployed by Callvine to maintain its HD Voice services. Users will have to pay for the Callvine app and service only when their conferencing time has exceeded four hours in a month or want to include more than 10 participants on a conference call.
