iFusion, the first Apple made for iPhone communications docking station, has been launched in Australia and New Zealand by AltiGen (News - Alert) Communications and its new distribution partner Express Online.

According to AltiGen, the iFusion SmartStation is a complete mobility solution – an ergonomically designed telephone handset that combines the capabilities of many major iPhone (News - Alert) accessories in one device. It also reduces the cost by eliminating the need for an expensive proprietary deskphone.

iFusion has powerful full duplex speakerphone for hands-free conversations and an integrated dock which charges the phone faster than USB.

Compatible with iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S and iPod touch, iFusion is stated to be well-suited for small office/home office (SOHO) and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SME), and seamlessly blends iPhone VoIP Apps with existing phone systems such as Cisco (News - Alert) Mobile 8.1, Avaya one-X Mobile, Skype, Counterpath Bria and MaxMobile for Microsoft Lync.

Notable features of iFusion include a one-touch Bluetooth speakerphone and handset, smartphone charging station, USB data synchronization with a connected PC; and connection through users’ cellular network.
