Pickn’Tell has unveiled a mobile app, using which iPhone (News - Alert) or Android phone users can shop for fashion choices and share details with friends.
Users can also get advice and feedback and benefit from other offers and events.
Pickn’Tell brings users together via its new mobile app and in-store displays. It allows in-app purchases and facilitates a shopping experience making virtual shopping as good as the real experience.
“Research shows the shoppers crave feedback. Pickn’Tell eliminates the pain-points of shopping alone and makes any shopping excursion social,” said Dalit Braun, CEO at Pickn’Tell. “We believe that even a virtual companion, which can be found in the customers’ Pickn'Tell app contacts and social networks, enhances the shopping experience, allowing for instant feedback and dialogue.”
Shoppers on Pickn’Tell can securely capture images or videos of fashion accessories by using the Pickn’Tell in-store mirror or the app’s self-picture option. These pictures can be shared directly with friends or social networks.
Besides giving instant feedback, it also serves as a social application for shoppers to seek brands and stores. Shoppers can also share their fashion activities, and collect prizes and coupons.
In cases where the Pickn’Tell Interactive Mirror or Tablet is not available, shoppers can reportedly use the self-picture taking option within the app, allowing them to take a picture or video using their phone’s camera.
The app allows users to scan an item’s barcode to get additional product information, and sort their fashion items and enter their favorite un-purchased items into a wish list.
The Pickn’Tell multi-sided platform engages the consumer and helps retailers by increasing traffic to their stores. It also supplies them with consumer data, allowing them to more accurately study consumer behavior and target promotions to specific users.
Pickn’Tell can also be accessed from the firm’s website.
According to developers of the application, shoppers can download Pickn’Tell mobile app via the Google (News - Alert) Play Store or iPhone App store. It connects users to a huge community of bloggers, designers, stylists and friends besides m-commerce portals from retailers.
