Apple’s reinvention of the mobile phone with the iPhone (News - Alert), and its commitment to the future of mobile media and computing devices with its iPad, is a story that everyone knows by now.

“The mobile app is just another tool that makes a formerly unmanageable expense much more controlled,” he added. “I like the 'green' aspect of it as well -- instead of printing out the inventory for a facility, now we audit phone lines from the mobile app."

vCom's customers will be vying with Matelli to find the most unique setting for managing their telecom – vCom's launch efforts include a customer photo contest of the most unusual place they have used the vManager mobile app. The prize? An Apple iPad 2, of course!
